Transshipment and distribution in the Benelux

TTC specialises in next day distribution in the BENELUX by means of vans, trucks and articulated lorries. The goods are collected in bulk, sorted and delivered to the customer the following day.

At our transshipment warehouses in Kruibeke and Sint-Katelijne-Waver, we work around the clock, from Sunday to Friday inclusive. We collect goods from the customer at the end of the working day and unload them in our warehouses. Here they are scanned and sorted into the various van or truck routes. In order to handle a wide range of goods with care, we do not use conveyor belts. Instead, we sort manually.

Customers can place orders via our online platform or by e-mail using an EDI file, or through our FTP environment. All our drivers are equipped with a PDA system which provides them with feedback about ETAs and ATAs, as well as a POD and/or a photo of the goods, which is available immediately after delivery.

A team of permanent staff, each working within their own region, takes care of our transports.

Night-time distribution

We can also deliver your packages and palletised goods during the night. Night-time distributions can be made with vans, trucks and/or articulated lorries. Codes and/or keys allow us to access the customer’s premises. We attach a photo of the goods delivered to the order and make this available via our online platform.

Delivery On Location (DOL)

As well as standard package and palletised shipments, we also provide desktop and DOL (delivery on location) services, when we take the goods right to the customer's shelves or workplace.

Time window deliveries

We undertake delivery and collection assignments as standard in our distribution rounds during normal opening hours. If required, we can take account of specific time windows (morning/afternoon, delivery before or after a certain time).

Dedicated Distribution

‘Dedicated distribution’ means that the customer takes care of the planning themselves and we contract out trucks with drivers.

Some customers prefer to manage their distribution themselves. In this case, we provide the required number of trucks with drivers in the appropriate house style. Our great flexibility allows us to develop customised transport for our clients.

This can range from special transport projects to the deployment of vans or trucks with drivers used exclusively for the company. Per day, per week, per month or per project: every formula is possible!
